Is it possible to begin a bracelet with a loop when there is only one of each color string? Example the bracelet has seven colors and seven strings, in this case you can’t fold the strings in half because you only need one of each, so how can i start it?

What you need to do is to take each of you strings and split its six pieces into 3. Then, you take another string like it and loop it around so it is together, looking like one string attached at the middle. When you do this your thread needs to be double the size of it normally because it will be folded in half to make six strings again. For the pattern you were showing #17850 when you loop the thread together you would put the odd one by connecting two strings to one string on the other side. This probably doesn't make sense, but if you go onto Instagram and go to the account @Claire_wears_spam she has a tutorial in her highlights. I hope that helps, if you need more information you can message me. 👍 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IyGiKsjNJMHere's the video link to Masha's helpful video (I believe Claire_wears_spam on instagram also helped) on how to do a loop when there's only one string of each colour of thread. I'm not sure if this will work with pattern 17850, but it might do! |

There is another way that I do. I would basically the ends of the different colour string together, that becomes the new halfway point. Then use your extra string as the threat for the loop. Tie it where you want the loop to start, then keep going (over the knots youve made to tie the string together) and then when you reach the end of your loop your string will be in the place you need it to be! Hope that makes sense! |
