I have craft thread and DMC. Do you think it’ll be ok if I use them both in one bracelet?

Totally fine to mix threads as long as they are the exact same or very similar in thickness!

You should be able to feel just by touching them, but if not, you might be able to count the amount of single strands that make up one thread, most have 6 or 4 and you can figure it out like that.

For a normal bracelet, the strings don’t have to be the exact same thickness, just similar. However for alphas, I’d definitely suggest you use the same type 😊 Hope this helps!

@MozzaStix in normal patterns in won’t be too obvious unless the thicknesses are drastically different, however in alpha bracelets different thicknesses will result in different sized knots making your bracelet turn out uneven and wonky
