How long are your strings (inches) for normal patterns? And if it’s folded for a loop?

This isn’t in inches but I typically do a wingspan and a half, which will then get folded in half, I hope this helps!

Hi! I don’t know the exact inches that I use but for regular patterns and bracelets, I do my wingspan. Sometimes I add a few extra inches (2-3 maybe) so that i never run out of string. I then fold in half : ) hope this helped

@as_he I usually make mine 15cm in length for the pattern. Maybe a few cm shorter depending on whether I’m making it for someone

@as_he I measured it wingspan and it’s around 35-40 inches (not folded).

i like to do my wingspan plus a couple extra inches, but it really just depends on the pattern you are making

These are all amazing tips! Just be sure to add a few inches to colors/strings that are used frequently that way you don’t end up short🙂

I usually cut mine 6 feet long (to be folded in half) with one a little extra for the loop

I do twice the distance from my fingertips to my shoulder, plus 25cm for ties. And I make the string I’ll be making the loop with an extra 5cm long. In general, the more strings your pattern has, the longer your strings should be
