what’s the difference between embroidery floss and a thread/string?

i didn't really know the difference too but here's google's answer:"Embroidery thread is yarn that is manufactured or hand-spun specifically for embroidery and other forms of needlework. Embroidery floss or stranded cotton is a loosely twisted, slightly glossy 6-strand thread, usually of cotton but also manufactured in silk, linen, and rayon." but if you're asking if it makes a difference while knotting then just make sure that they're roughly the same thickness especially for alphas, where a slight thickness difference could make the bracelet wonky. as for normal bracelets, you should be fine too if there's not such a big difference in thickness. |

they look slightly different from each other but you sure can use both to make bracelets!
