Why is it that when I do an Alpha Pattern it always messes up & never turns out how i want it ? I watched Masha Knots youtube videos on Alphas and it helped a lot , but my bracelets still turn out really bad 🙁

It could be to do with the tension of your knots or maybe your using different thicknesses of string and probably there are more common alpha issues that I can't think of 😂 What's the issue exactly, just saying it's turning out bad means it's hard to say what the issue is.

@Knots_EM i tried doing patterns #19887 & #19797 and the design kind of sinks into the bracelet , you can’t see the design really

Would you be willing to set a picture of what you made as your profile picture? I want to help you but it’s hard to help without seeing the bracelet

It might be your knot tension and the way you are changing strings.

Perhaps try to pull on the leading string and fix the knot using your finger? Also try tightening your knots more. Hope this helps! 😊

Make sure that you are using string of the same thickness, if you white string is thinner, that might be why it is sinking into the background. Also it might help to use the flat alpha technique, both Masha knots, and Alex's innovations show you how in their alpha tips and tricks videos.

It looks like there are a few things going on here. First, I think you should make your knots tighter in general. Second, I think you should try to keep your knot tension consistent. Third, your first row is crooked, which will end up affecting the next rows, so I recommend starting with a triangle end, because it’ll be way easier to make your first row straight. If you don’t know how to do triangle ends on alphas, you should watch Masha Knots’ alpha triangle ends video called “triangle ends for alphas” (not her older video called “triangle ends on alphas”). And fourth, like the person above me said, make sure you’re using strings that are the same thickness. I can’t really tell if they’re the same or not in the picture, but just in general make sure that the thickness is the same
