Yeah, embroidery thread/floss works the best because it's made of cotton and is six-stranded! But it depends on what brand you're using.....There are brands like DMC, Anchor, Prism, or just some random brand at Michael's, but you really have to try them yourself to find the one that works best for you! For a beginner, I'd recommend craft cord from Michael's because they are more tightly twisted and less likely to fall apart!

I use mostly embroidery floss, but for colors I use a lot I buy a roll of crochet thread at a craft store that is about the same thickness, it’s cheaper and you get a lot!

It depends. It can be a lot easier to start out with craft cord, cause you can get your tightness more even. I recommend a combination - base threads in craft cord, knotting with embroidery floss. I hope this helps! ❤️

Embroidery thread or craft thread should work good I don’t know what brands they have in Spain but six strand cotton strings work good. Just make sure all the strings are the same thickness.

Any embroidery thread is fine, just make sure that it’s all the same thickness, because alpha rows get wavy/crooked if you’re using strings of different thicknesses
