I’m having trouble finding the triangle in the pattern at the top to knot and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I'm not sure what you mean. there is no specific triangle you have to make, so there should be no issue finding where to make it. a lot of times there is a place to start a triangle end that looks good with the pattern, and if you need help finding that I could help if you send the pattern number. but really, you could just make a triangle anywhere. if you need help actually making the triangle end, masha knots (on youtube) has a good tutorial on it. hope this helps.

I mean the tear drop loop, I think you’re supposed to find a triangle in the pattern that you start with so that the loop doesn’t distort the top of the bracelet, I’m not sure if that makes sense

It’s completely up to you where you put the triangle, but there are usually some spots on a pattern that look better than others. Which pattern are you doing? You might also want to watch Masha Knots’ two YouTube videos on triangle ends, they helped me a lot when I was first learning

You can message me if you still need help or send me the pattern number but usually I just start from the outer corners and trace a triangle down from there

I see if the pattern has a natural triangle and if not I go from the second row and do one knot that was in the middle and 2 middle knots on the third row and so on.
