Hi everyone! I have the age old problem— I didn’t cut my strings long enough and now I have a short bracelet that I’ve managed to save, but one of my threads to make the ties is way too short compared to the other strings. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do? Any and all ideas are welcome, thanks!

How long do you cut your strings? I cut 1 meter for a bracelet without ties, 2 meters for a bracelet with loops, and 2 meters 6 inches for the strings that makes the loop.

I usually just make mine the length of my wingspan.

You could cut the thread really short and then paint clear nail polish over the tiny bit that’s sticking out. Depending on the type of ties you’re doing, it probably wouldn’t be noticeable

I recommend just cutting that string off. It it causes problems, glue it down or what @madeleine_ said, use clear nail polish.

I usually cut all the remaining threads, glue it and then attach the bracelet to flat crimp end caps when this happen... ;;v;;

When that happens I will either glue it or cut a new string and tie it to the end of the shirt string.
