I'm not sure if this will make sense over text but I could make a video tutorial for you on how to do it as a visual!! BUT here's what I do - If one of your strings are running low, tape a new string of that same color to whatever side your string is on. (I'm not sure if this matters - the taping to a side but I believe you can just do it on either side - doesn't matter) Then keep continuing your pattern! You can also combine your shorter string with your new string while you keep knotting your pattern. This will ensure, combing your short string to new string, that the knots or pattern won't unravel! I hope this makes sense and works for you! If you want a visual let me know and I can post a video of me doing it!! 🙂

could you make a visual please because the same string has snapped after "repair" for the third time and I'm almost ready to just cut it and try to start over because I'm getting frustrated and I haven't even started on the actual pattern I'm watching the video on how to make the loop thing then start with a triangle so i can begin my pattern but maybe I didn't measure enough thread for the pattern #33732 because i was watching a video and Masha said to pull out enough for the tags then how ever long you think the pattern would be

If your string has snapped a few times, I’d recommend just cutting a new one and adding it to the bracelet in place of the old one. To add a string to a normal pattern, you do the same thing you would do to add a string to an alpha. In masha knots’ YouTube video called “flat alphas beginner tutorial” she teaches how to add a string to an alpha, so you can watch that and then just do the same thing with your normal pattern
