thickness of alphas

Today I made one of my first alphas, this one was getting wider as I went towards each row, what do you do to make it the same thickness? I will be making the knots very tight at first and then I will release my hand?

Hi so I think that if you made you knots consiqutive sizes then it should stop the bracelets from being bigger as your going through. If your a beginner then maybe you haven’t found the size of your knots yet and haven’t figured out how you tie the knots coursing there to be some uneveness to the bracelet. Something that might help is if you use the straight edges technique on it for example you do forward backwards or backwards forward knots (depending on which way your tying the bracelets) at the ends of the
