I made a bigger alpha for it, to be made a bracelet, using the variation and the original one in the design.
How should I submit it? After all, I didn't make the art on the first one. I don't want to steal anyone's designs 🙁

Whenever you post a bracelet, such as the one you mentioned, it does not matter what colors you use as long as it is the pattern. You can change the colors, duplicate the pattern and do it again, or for patterns with multiple rows of one color, add more of those rows. If you want to submit the pattern, just take a photo of it and post it to the pattern.
I hope that helps. If you need any other help, please feel free to ask.

@EBPacker2 so if I understand well: once I make the bracelet (using the edited pattern of #36348), I can then post the picture of it in #36348, then I can then submit the edited pattern I used of #36348 ? Sorry, I have a hard time understanding you, but my question wasn't worded correctly either I think.

I depends on how you edited it. If you changed the colors, then you woud submit it as a variation. The only thing is to submit the photo you do not need to add the variation that you made. If you changed a color, even if it is not a variation, it will still be submitted as a photo.

If you changed the pattern such as not doing certain parts of it (for example you started at row 8 instead of row 1) that would most likely be accepted as a photo, but there is no way to add a variation. The only time that this wouldn't work is if you didn't do much of the pattern and the moderators deemed it as incomplete.

I hope that helps. If it doesn't or if I didn't answer your question correctly, please tell me and I can try to help.

I’d say if you used the original anywhere in the new pattern you created, you should keep the edited pattern in your drafts so that you can make the alpha off of it, and just post your photo to the original pattern

@madeleine_ gotcha, thank you for the info!

@EBPacker2 I actually made it longer and sightly changed the background to make it "repeatable". I'll just make the bracelet and probably add the edited pattern next to it, thank you a lot!

I also think you should be able to post the photo because if you look at other photos people did edit the background to make it repeatable and to their liking.

I am so excited to see your work. Glad. I could help
