I do triangle starts and ends, it looks quite smart and simple without being obvious. It also means that I can do adjustable closures if I like

there are a lot of ways to start and end bracelets. one way is to create a loop, and then a teardrop, a triangle end, or two triangle ends coming from it. or you can just start knotting the bracelet after making the loop. another way is to create triangle ends without a loop-- this is a good option if you have an uneven amount of string per color or if the pattern is asymmetrical though this option can technically be used for any pattern. or you can just start the bracelet without any kind of special start. if you do that, you can attach crimp ends or you can just do regular ties. to end the bracelet, i recommend triangle ends, and then braided or twisted ties coming from it. masha knots on youtube has a whole playlist of different ways to start and end your bracelets, and she explains very clearly how to do these starts and ends. hope that helps! 🙂

I personally use twisted ties because they are the easiest, but when I first started I would braid the ends, because I thought it was easier. Twisted ties look very sleek, as do teardrop loops and triangle starts

You can do side triangle ends (so the start and ends are slanted. It’s the same tactic as regular triangle ends ( as in you position and knot the same way) you just do it in a line instead of a triangle. You can also do reverse triangle ends. All of this can have a loop at the top.

1. Teardrop loop (good for normal patterns and Masha knots has a tutorial for how to do it with both Norma and alpha patterns)
2. Loops like what I do - I have photos - (good for any patterns where You have a triangle start and end with ties)
3. Shaped start with ties (good to tie on, Masha knots has tutorial)
4. No start (if u want use crimp ends)
5. To end bracelets I like shapes ends with ties
