i’m struggling on doing a forward backward knot on an alpha ( for the straight edges technique ) but i also have to switch the colour. i’m doing pattern #26396 on the first knot on row 2. can anyone help? thanks! 💗

You don't switch the base string, you just put it in the back. Then, you take out your string your gonna use for the edge and make a backward forward [or forward backward] knot and yeah. masha knot's video on how to make alphas has that in the end.

You just take the color that you don`t need and put it underneath the bracelet. Then take the new string you need and just do a backward-forward knot. Hope this helps. 👍
