Pattern manual incomplete?

HiIs it normal that there is only shown a small part of the pattern in the manual or is there a way to see more? In #17909 for example I find it difficult to go on by myself because I'm a beginner. Thank you everyone |

for some earlier patterns, the bottom strings don’t match the top strings. it isn’t incomplete but it doesn’t show every cycle of the pattern. to continue the pattern, you just go back to the top and repeat, ignoring the changed colors. 🙂

Thank you for your help! I got it now. To ignore the colours is what I found difficult first, but as the strings are lying nicly in line it's easy actually.
