Hii! So I'm just wondering, if you can start a bracelet doing the triangle thing, can you do that in one colour despite your strings being different colours? thank-you!

No, i dont think so, you can only do that in an alpha. The strings have to be arranged properly when the triangle start is done. If you just use one color, it will cause the string to stretch over each other so that you can make the right knots.
(Please correct me if im wrong)
Besides, it kinda looks out of place in a normal pattern.
Alphas yes
Normals.....i think not

(@Shelly2121) actually yes you can! it is difficult to explain but i’ve done it before. i recommend searching up pattern and craft’s youtube tutorial on single colored triangle ends. you would basically do the same thing when starting a bracelet with a triangle. 🙂

Eh, i like my ends to look a bit more natural, but try that then!
@arf280 thank you for correcting me 🙂
Also, do u know why my triangle starts are thin and long, while my triangle ends are short and thicc?

@Shelly2121 oh that sometimes happens with me! i think the kind of knots that you do for triangle starts may be different than the kind of knots you do for triangle ends. sometimes when i do fb and bf knots for triangle starts and f and b knots for triangle ends, my ends look thicker than my starts. if it’s not that, try making sure that your knotting tension is consistent 🙂
