Cutting off string after adding more

I am making a bracelet for my friend cuz it was her bday yesterday, and i had to add more black string. I just knotted it in, but im scared to cut the tails to short because i dont want it to fall apart. Is it safe?

I like to do a couple of knots with the string I just added in just to secure it. Then I cut it off.

tie knots with it thne cut it..it should be fine

If you don't feel comfortable with cutting it, maybe try gluing the tie to the back of the bracelet. Just take any clear dry glue and add a little to the extra. That's what I do because I as well get nervous with cutting.

i do a square knot with the two tails of string to secure it 🙂
