You can only make patterns on the website when your signed in on the website you can click or hover, I think, over your profile thing in the corner and you should have a couple options sign out todos or create pattern

If you hover over your username and avatar on the website, there will be a dropdown menu where the first option is "create patterns". Click on this, and from there you can decide normal or alpha. There are many features inside of the pattern makers, so if you have more questions or want more guidance feel free to ask me! ❤️😊
