Hi everyone! I’m doing my alpha bracelets and I noticed that my character’s face is a little wider than it should be. I compared to other photos of the same pattern & it just looks wide. Anyone have tips/tricks to prevent it being so wide? I knot pretty tight so I’m not sure what else to do. Thanks sm! (: |

if you tie the first half of your knot a bit tighter then it will make your knot more square and the pattern shouldn't look as stretched out

Do not pull to tight in your alphas. You could also try the flat alpha technique, which allows your strings to be knotted together, which can help. Just out of curiosity, what pattern # is it?

It's probably widening because when you add a new string in, it can widen the bracelet a bit. Try to make sure you are pulling the same tight as any other knot.

If you tie a tiny bit looser on your regular knots, and tighter on the color switch knots, that should help.
