The left sides of my bracelets aren’t straight, but my right sides are. Why?

No matter the type of bracelet (shaped, normal, alpha, etc) the right side is always perfect and the left side’s always a little wonky. I took a break from bracelets for a bit and that might be why they’re wonky but one of the bracelets I made was one of the best I’ve ever made. I’m just not sure what I’m doing wrong and any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sometimes that happens to me and the best advice I can say from experience is make sure your knots are nice and tight on both sides hope this helped

Have you learned the straight edge technique @bojilly? There are two different ways, one for normal patterns, and one for alphas.

@Carina_C I always use the straight edges technique for alphas, and I prefer not to use the straight edges technique for normals unless I know they’ll end up wonky.

@elysse thanks for the advice! I’ve been on the move lately so I probably haven’t been paying enough attention lol

Yeah okay then @bojilly, just probably make your knots tight through the whole bracelet.
