Hey! I was wondering if you guys have any tips or keeping all the very long, different color leading threads tidy when working on an alpha. Mine keep getting tangled and unrolling if I try to roll them up into little balls, thank you in advance! 😊 🙈

if you're not going to use the thread for another bracelet while you're making the alpha i would just keep the thread on the bobbin (if you have bobbins) so then there is less thread getting tangled

I try to work on a flat empty surface (like a desk) so there’s less to get tangled with. and I try to keep all my strings separate if I can 😊

I generally just work through it, and it’s become a habit for me to run my fingers through the longest strings so they don’t tangle 😅

With alphas, you could honestly just use shorter lengths of string since you can easily feed in a new one. It would definitely help when it comes to the tangling issue!

For me it depends, for background thread which is typically longer than the rest, I wrap it around a bobbin, or my fingers then wrap some around the middle to keep it in place, I also run my finger through the base strands to keep them from tangling, for other thread if your done with a color temporarily I tape mine up that way they are out of the way till I need them again.
