How do you improve your ranking? I'm newish to this site, but I think I have a higher ranking than whats shown. Also, what is the purpose of rating people in the first place?

Adding photos of patterns you have done and just adding to your to dos and creating patterns help you rank up quickly and the higher the ranks the more things you can do like when you become advanced you can send friends requests

Different ratings give you different privileges. Like sending friend requests and sending messages. To level up just add patterns to your to do, create patterns, post photos, be active on the forum, comment on patterns. Just overall be active on the site in different ways. I think there’s five rankings but once you get to the third one all the different privilege doesn’t really affect anything.

I moved up from newbie from just adding a bunch of patterns to my todos so not even a day for the first one. Again, the rankings don’t really matter after you get passed newbie.

I just got this app two day ago and it only took my a day to get to the next rank. But you do have to be on the app every day and be active.

You have to be very active on the site to rank up , add new designs to your to-dos and upload more of your own photos to the site , and possibly even create more patterns and be helpful in the forum 😘
