Make sure all your string is the same size, because if you use different thickness of string then it can cause lumps and unevenness.

What exactly do you think you’re having trouble with?

i feel you, its happened to me. all my rows were wobbly. my tip is to focus and don’t try to rush. every time i make a knot i like to pull al the previous strings , it helps me get it straighter

I have never loved alphas because they are so time consuming. You just have to believe in yourself and keep trying. You will get better. The end result is worth it. Also try going on YouTube and looking for alpha videos.

My first alpha was terrible, and I actually have it on my profile for a Challenge. (It’s the bracelet with the pumpkins) and sometimes it’s not you, but the pattern. I find that patterns that switch colours a lot tend to be my biggest problem, but it takes time and I’m sure you will get it soon! Sometimes I overthink the knots on my bracelets and one end has looser knots and the other has thicker. I’m sure you got this you just need some practice!

@chloe_27 Look up “Masha Knots flat alphas” on YouTube and she explains it perfectly!! It took me a while to get good at alphas and once i started using the flat alpha method they have turned out beautifully !!

@chloe_27 The best advice that I can give (and have gotten from others) is to not pull too tightly on the back strings. Whenever I do, I find that the bracelet bunches up. I also make a point to adjust knots that look a little wonky with my fingernail, before moving on to the next knot. I hope this helps! You'll get there.

A great thing to do is the straight edges method which is just doing forward backward and backward forward knots on the edges
