I would try making your knots tighter and make sure the size is a good size. Hope that helped!

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear about your loops! I struggled with them for a long time too! This website { https://www.instructables.com/id/Friendship-Bracelet-With-Teardrop-Loop-and-Triangl/ } might help you; it is the same thing as the Masha Knots video but it is a bit easier to understand. The first step is to cut your strings, making sure one is longer than the other so you have enough to "wrap" it around at the top of the loop. Find the midpoint of all of the string, then seperate the long one. Slide it under the midpoint of the group of strings so that the heads of the loops face each other then overlap. Pull the 2 loose ends of the string through and tighten. From there, secure your string with one side of the sring and 1 of the loose ends from the long string facing you. Make backward and forward (b,f,b,f,b,f... etc.) over all of the string (similar to a Chinese staircase) on one side, and then the other until your loop is wide enough. You can sort of squish the sides together to see how wide it will be. Then find the "V" in your pattern, find the first color you need and knot it over all of the other strings (if it is on the left do a fb knot, if it is on the right do a bf knot) The string of the first color will end up pointing away from the bracelet, leave it there! Dont include it in the rest of the looping! Continue this process until you are left with one string and knot those two in the middle. Make all of the knots on the sides around the "V" on your loop then begin the pattern as usual. One tip for loops - keep your knots tight!!! I know this is really hard to understand from reading but I hope it helps a little! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or if you have any questions! Good luck with your loops! _ Meghan_J24 |

You want to make sure that you are doing forward-backward or backward forward knots so it does not turn out like a Chinese staircase.
