I think if you just tape a new string to your surface where you want it the just tie onto it as normal, but be careful, it should be fine. But this is just what I have heard I have never actually done it myself

Yeah you should be able to replace the string that way. When I have done it before, I pushed the broken string back and continue to knot my bracelet until I get to where that base string used to be. Then, I cut a new base string and tape it to my surface to make it easier. I continued knotting onto this new base string. It should become secure in a couple rows. Hope this helps!

I just tied it on to to where it broke off. Normally I wouldn’t do this but my string was strong enough because it didn’t break, my brother cut it.
