whenever I attempt to make a larger alpha bracelet and use the straight edge technique the bracelet always ends up getting wider than it was at the start does anyone know how to fix this please help I’m desperate

Try to make the knots the same size / tension. Also, having the same thickness of string can be super helpful. I usually stick with the same brand of string so it’s guaranteed to be the same size!

Ok so, I’m kinda confused on how to do an alpha pattern. I am confused on what you do after you bring an outside color into the bracelet. Can someone help me to figure this out?

make sure you put away your strings that you add in, so you make sure not to accidentally use them
