I watched MashaKnots and im doing flat technique for my alpha pattern. I finished a row and now I have to change the color for the beginning of the next row but I don't know how to do that without having the original leading string hangin on the side!!

If you also do the straight edges technique the string will point more to the inside. When you start using that leading string again it'll be pulled to the middle anyways. If it's the last time you're using that leading string once you're done with the bracelet you can tie the end of that leading string to one of the other leading strings and it won't poke.It's also important that you don't do the flat alpha technique when you do a colour switch right at the edge. Instead do the regular colour switch. She also explains that in the video. |
