my very first pack of string was ordered off amazon. it was a pack of 24 strings without white and black. since i needed white and black, i just went and bought them at michaels. if you get the brand DMC its pretty cheap. i think its around 0.56 USD (56 cents) for one string thing (idk what it's called sorry)

AmazooooonI found a kit that countained 100 colorful and 50 neutral bobbins. It looked great, but when i got it, i realized there was no orange 😤 luckily tho the second set of skeins i got had 2 good oranges... |

i get mine from hobby lobby because the prices there are a lot cheaper than if you go to micheals! I also went and compared prices and hobby lobbys string is about 10cents cheaper a piece than micheals!

Dollarama honestly has some pretty colours for like 3 or 4 bucks. I once got some pastel colours too, I once came across a packet that had so many different colours that were 4 dollars and were little balls of thread and last for a long time. Plus as much as I would love glittery or metallic thread is pretty expensive from michaels so I’m waiting for Christmas to come to get a huge pile of thread. But again I’d totally recommend dollarama they have some really pretty colours at different times. 😊 Hope this helps
