If you want to make a bracelet look at the top of the pattern and put your strings in the order you see there. Then you make all the knots in the pattern. When you get to the end of the pattern you start in the beginning again. Sometimes the string order at the top and the bottom of a pattern isn't the same. What you have to do then is just continue knotting like the pattern says but ignore the colours.If you want to design a pattern yourself it helps to sketch it on graph paper to figure out the order the strings need to be in. You can also just experiment in the pattern generator until the pattern looks like you want it too. |
