SOLID ADVICE... I actually have my first alpha on my profile because it was for a Challenge. (The one with all the pumpkins) and it wasn’t straight either. Honestly, alphas are really weird at first. It takes time and my second one was better. Just don’t be discouraged! I also like to shove knots in the right direction to keep it straight.

Tbh my alphas got a lot better with practice. I did the planets one as my first bracelet and like you said I didn't really feel like it was completely flat, but I've noticed that I have improved with each one I make. Don't get discouraged, just keep practicing the color switches!

Maybe. Since it’s your very first alpha it’s different like your very first normal pattern would been like that as well maybe you just need to practice! And then you I’ll get the hang of it 😄
