Whenever I switch a colour in my alpha, my strings get tangled. How do I fix that?

what i personally do to avoid tangling when switching colors, is to make sure there’s no tangling BEFORE i add the color back in. most of the time, you’ll have to move the color that you’re adding in over/under the color that you’re taking out in order to avoid tangling, and to produce the neatest color switch possible : )

I feel it helps if you have a little bit of a system where you put your strings. In the rows with f knots when I switch to the new I put the old leading string to the right. The next leading string I also put to the right but beneath the first one. For the rows with b knots I put my strings to the left.

For me, it’s make 1 cm slits on the left, right, & bottom edges on a piece cardboard and use bulldog clips to clip them on a clipboard. Clip your bracelet on the clipboard and place each string on each of the slits. Hopes that makes sense.

@toiletman4 the video of masha knots that is shown with alpha patterns does help.
