starting bracelets

so, i’ve been making bracelets for a while now and have always cut my strings then folded them in half and tied a loop. i want to do a basket weave pattern and the pattern calls for 9 strings. any recommendations on how to tie a bracelet that has a odd amount of strings?

i would usually do triangle ends if i have an odd number of strings, but i’m pretty sure alexinnovations has a video on her youtube channel called “how to make a loop with an odd number of strings.” hope this helps! 😊

I know mashaknots has a tutorial but it’s gonna be pretty annoying so I would just do triangle ends and ties on both sides instead.

I usually just make a loop with strings that can be doubled and wi th thr strings that aren’t just cut them singular and tie them on After that you have a choice of doing whatever you like |
