I’m not new to making bracelets, but i’m thinking of starting an etsy shop and i was wondering how many instagram followers i should get before creating a shop and selling! i made my instagram account a few days ago and already have 160 followers, but i don’t want to set up an account just for people to not buy from it. if anyone could respond, thanks!

I don't have insta or an Etsy so take this with a grain of salt:I think maybe get like 500 followers or more, which should be in like a couple more days if your channel is growing that fast. The from what I know, I think you can add a story highlight on Instagram, and you can tell everyone about your Etsy shop. With 500 or more followers you should get some orders.then the more your account grows, the more customers you will have. Also when ever you add a new product or something else to your Etsy, you could make another story about that, so people will know and go check it out. I would say around 200 I have 182 followers on there and have already gotten a few sales

I don't think it matters how many followers you have instagram. I used to not have instagram and had an etsy shop and I still had a few sales. I'm sure it would have helped if I had both but you can open your etsy shop whenever you want.

hiii sorry maybe this is a silly question because It is subjective but I'll try... how much a keychain should cost on etsy? in your opinion how much people are minded to pay for it? every answer is well accepted, i need opinions and ideas 😊❤️

I would say 300-500. Also you could make a story with a poll asking if you should make a poll, and if people will buy.

thank you for all the help! and @bluxek what kind of keychain and how big is it? it really depends how many strings you used, and if it’s an alpha or a normal pattern (in my opinion)

I also really want to open an etsy shop. That one reply about growing your instagram first is a good idea. I would also be all over Pinterest, VSCO, and tiktok, because those are platforms a lot of potential buyers are going to be on the most. I would also make a fair amount of bracelets that are designated for the shop, and kind of have all of your project photos and pattern ideas and everything set up before you "open" your shop so that you can be ready from the get-go. Hope this helps!!
