I would suggest using strong duct tape.

You can also use a clipboard by placing whatever stick you’re using as the base of the wall hanging underneath the clip

@LocoEva It would be similar to a macrame tapestry, but using embroidery thread to create a pattern that is attached to a wooden dowel and can be hung on the wall. 🙂
