The straight edges technique might be helpful in this case since you want your edges to appear straighter. MashaKnots has a video on YouTube about the straight edges technique that is really helpful. You can also check out the tutorial I wrote in the tutorial section.

But the straight edges technique isn't the ultimate solution. When knotting make sure your knots have a consistent tightness. Don't pull the bracelet to the side while knotting because then it will curve.

There are also patterns that are more likely to have an edge that isn't really smooth. Maybe you've done lots of patterns recently where that's the case.

The way you secure your bracelet can also have an effect. At least for me, my edges tend to be more crooked if I use a safety pin instead of a clipboard or tape

Hey, for me (if its the right edge) ill do the half a forward knot then half a backward knot. For the left edge its vice versa. Mashaknots did a vid about it which I think is really comprehensive

I never really tried it, though I will soon. However, you can check out Masha Knots on Youtube. She has a lot of great tutorials and has a video on how to make your edges straight.
