Triangle ends / shaped start help?

I watched both of Masha knots vids of triangle ends but I am confused on how to do them. I don’t know where you would start once you are done making the triangle ends and the triangle ends themself are also confusing.

I recommend watching her video on shaped bracelets, because shaped bracelets are basically just made by doing triangle ends over and over again

is there a specific pattern you want to do with triangle starts? just in general i recommend starting the pattern in inverse chevrons after you have finished the triangle end if you are planning to segment knot it. if you are planning to knot it row by row i would suggest following what masha knots does in her tutorial. 🙂

Basically the steps are- pick a triangle (or other shape) you want to start your bracelet with - draw that shape into the pattern - do the knots at the edge of the shape - do the knots inside the shape - once you've done that you can start knotting in rows or segments like you usually would To make shaped ends the process is a bit reversed - pick a shape you want to end your bracelet with and draw it into the pattern - knot all rows until the beginning of your shaped end - make the knots inside the shape - make the knots at the edge of the shape |

Masha Knots also posted a video called more on triangle ends that might help you. Do u have any specific questions? I might be able to answer them.

watch and rewatch! not everything will make sense on the first try! best thing to do is to make a triangle end while watching a video you find most helpful.
