does anyone have any good patterns that would look good as a wall hang? preferably under 25 strings please and is an alpha pattern please 😊

@annie_jin If you work with a thicker string such as yarn, the pattern will be bigger and fit on a wall better 🤔

Maybe put your string on a toothpick with lark head knot might work for a wall hang alpha

@novaphina hmm do you mean the entire wall hang is made of yarn?? or is it only the base strings with yarn or vise-versa? but either way, that's a really great idea, thanks!! (lol but i only have 2 colors of yarn 😂)

you can use any pattern, just use a thick base string (like a thick yarn) and then use something thinner (like a thinner yarn) as the leading strings. i buy yarn at micheals usually.

I use yarn for everything! Make sure you get a thinner type of yarn like 4ply or 8ply. You can use them as base strings or the leading string (depends on your choice) @annie_jin

@annie_jin also if your making a wall hang alpha with a long toothpick or a long skewer you should make sure that the alpha is at least 30-45 strings because it makes the alpha look more even on the long skewer/toothpick! Also I loved the alpha that you did on a skewer. Just a little tip for wallhang patterns💕

@elephants1 thank you!! also the yarn i have, one of them is like a thick purple yarn used for knitting but it sometimes separates itself, and the other one is slightly thinner and doesn't separate itself. (i only have to colors of yarn 😂)
