Hello, I don’t exactly know how to read the patterns on here. I even tried looking at a pattern I already knew how to make and it still made no sense at all. Anyone know how to read them? Or have any tutorials?

i would recommend going to masha knots’s channel on youtube. she has great beginner tutorials, as well as one on how to read friendship bracelet patterns. but i’ll give you a brief explanation. there are two ways to read patterns: row by row and segment knotting. row by row is when you knot left to right like a book. segment knotting is when you knot in diagonals, so if you see a line going in one direction, you can knot that whole line all at once. if you’ve done a chevron or a candystripe you most likely have segment knotted it. feel free to message me if you more help!🙂
