i need help with starting the bracelet

hi! so after I make a teardrop loop or even a regular one, how do I start making the bracelet? like is there something specific I have to do?

Just like a normal bracelet if it’s a regular loop if it’s a tear drop loop you have to start with a triangle in the center and work around it cutting out the part in the middle

it depends one which type of start would be convenient for the pattern. if there is a clear V shape in the pattern you would want to go with a teardrop coming from the loop. if there is a ^ shape then go with a triangle end, and if there are two ^ shapes go with two triangle ends coming off from the loop. if any of them are convenient for the pattern it depends on preference! or you don’t even have to do any special start coming from the loop at all: start in a horizontal line if you plan on doing the pattern row by row or start segment knotting the pattern without a teardrop or triangle ends. if you don’t know how to do any of these techniques, i recommend going on youtube and watching and following masha knots’s tutorials. hope that gave you some ideas!

yeah i would highly recommend masha knots's tutorial on this! she shows how you can make a teardrop loop on different types of patterns, including how to start it after you make the loop 🙂

@gulnar8 you can also choose where you want to start in the pattern like sometimes you might want to change it so it looks more complete.

Just carry on making the bracelet but be careful of the middle knot as it might come loose
