Also I've completed my first alpha pattern bracelet but I've looked at other peoples bracelets and they have a zig zag sort of thing going across theres when I don't, am I doing something wrong?

When I first started, mine didn't zig zag either. But after I made a few bracelets they started having that effect🙂
