I can’t seem to figure out how to start off the bracelet! How long should I make the strings and how do I start making the patterns for an alpha bracelet? How do I set up? I have so many question!

For starting the bracelet: the easiest way is just to line your base strings up and tape them down in line, then just start the bracelet normally. There’s other ways to start too, like triangle ends for alphas and loops, and you can probably find tutorials for that on YouTube if you wanna try something more advanced.

The base strings should be as long as you want to make your pattern plus however much extra length you need for the endings you want to do.

1. i just do an overhand knot, then tape it down and make the bracelet and end it with an overhand knot. the ill go back and braid both ends.

2. you can make a basic teardrop loop, or something like that and twisted ties, or braided. it doesn’t really matter, whatevers eaisest.
