no you can be any rank to create a pattern. i think there is a limit to how many patterns you can upload though if you’re at a lower rank. to add a pattern go to the website (not the app) and hover over your profile menu. a drop down menu will appear and click the top option “create pattern.” to add a picture, if you’re on the app go to the pattern and tap the plus sign and tap add photo. if you’re on the website go to pattern, and click “add photo” near the top right of the page. you do not have to be a higher rank to post a photo. 🙂
