Say i wanted to do #38993 or #38069. How many base strings would I need for a name? or a word?

What I would do is figure out exactly what I'm gonna spell and find the tallest sign and make it that many base strings......... to make it look nicer, I would put an extra 1 to 2 rows on each side

For #38069 I'd use between 13-15 base strings
