What is the unit of measurement for the patterns? Because when I finish my designs, they don't measure the same as it says in the "dimensions" box ... Not in centimeters or millimeters or inches. Thanks!

The dimension box is measured in knots, so if a normal pattern has eight strings (four knots per row) and it is 10 rows long, the dimensions will be 4x10. Hope this helps!

Also, for alphas, the width is the number of base strings (the patterns number of strings minus one) so if the alpha has 10 base strings, it will have one dimension be 10 😊

The patterns aren't measured in those kinds of measurements, but rather how many groups of strings to start by how many rows that make up the design (since bracelets were originally all about knotting row by row). You are meant to repeat the pattern until the bracelet is as long as you need it to be. 🙂
