I get mine at hobby lobby, you can get packs of a BUNCH of skeins for 5-7 bucks, plus they have a wide range of colors of individual skeins.

I think a lot of people get bulk packs on amazon. You can also get them from Walmart. I usually get my thread (not bulk) from Michaels!
