Hi !! I just start with alpha patterns. First i make simple ones no more than 11 strings. And now i make the pattern #6632 the kirby one. And i see that i have really small gaps. What im doing wrong? i know that in alpha dosent see gaps as in the normal ones. Maybe my string its to thin? |

make sure that you are switching your leading strings correctly, i recommend the flat alpha method, which Masha Knots has a video on on youtube

it’s ok if you have small gaps when you see them under a light. that is perfectly normal. when you can clearly see them without it being under the light, that is a tension issue. make sure you tie each knot tightly and carefully. but i think from the sound of your post, your tension is fine and you don’t need to worry about the small gaps! 🙂

it could also be if they strings are different sizes or if you’re knots are tied using different pressure! but i agree that you don’t really need to worry about small gaps!
