@KayGlo4821 My tips are don't be discouraged if your first few alphas don't turn out the way you would like them to. Also if you can use the same brand of string so the knot sizes are the same. What helped me get better is to watch some tutorials. Masha knots how to make flat alphas helped me a lot. Hope you have fun knotting 🙂

For those that are true beginners to alphas, I recommend that you don't try the straight edges technique just so you can get used to the movement of tying the knots. After you complete a few alphas, you can try out the straight edges technique.
