HELP! I was starting a starburst so that i wouldnt have to later, and i miscounted the strings, so there is 32 instead of 34. What do i do? I already did a loop and double triangle ends. Does anyone know a way to fix this without undoing everything?

Depending on what string you miscounted. Are you missing two white strings or two color strings or what?

um, I don’t know if much can be done. If anything just cut the strings off and do two triangle ends with no loop. Don’t forget the white strings this time! There might be a way, but none that I know of. You can wait and see if anybody else responds.

i’ve done that before with another pattern. i would suggest taping two white strings to your workspace and knotting them into the pattern as you would if you were replacing string. i hate it when i miscalculate string but i find that it is barely noticeable when you have to add in a couple strings into the bracelet🙂

Literally the same thing happened to me earlier today. I just made little changes in the pattern. If you have a little experience with pattern making and/or starbursts it shouldn't be a problem to figure out how you can adjust the pattern. You can also look if someone already made a starburst pattern with that amount of strings.
