I finished the first rows of this pattern and when I started it over the colors that it shows in the first row look different from mine. For example. I used the color combination of green, blue, yellow, pink. The end of the pattern ends with a forward knot blue, forward knot green, and backward knot blue. Then at the beginning of the pattern, it starts with a green forward, yellow forward, yellow backward, green backward, but on my actual strings, the same colors aren't the same as at the beginning of the pattern. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you sure you have the pattern right, there isn't that pattern number that high.

Once again I think the pattern number is wrong, when I search #2668 it comes up with an alpha pattern, when I think the problem you are describing is for a normal pattern. But from what I can tell from what you are describing, it is that the strings strings aren't in the same position at the end of the pattern as they were in the beginning. In this case pay attention to the knots rather than the colours you are knotting. Sorry if this is wrong or if you are doing the alpha pattern but from what you were describing it sounded like a normal pattern

Yeah, So like I said before you just need to pay attention to the knots rather than the strings/colours you are knotting with

In one of the variations, the two knots in the middle are purple and when you start it over the purple strings are on the outside, very confused.

you just start again at the beginning of the pattern and continue until the desired length, even if the colors switch 🙂
