For starting a bracelet with triangle ends do i just find the center on the top and make a triangle from the top center until allstrings are present? i’m asking because the bracelet i’m about to make has no “clear triangle” but i can just make one of the knots and i’m wondering if that’s possible instead of finding a clear triangle in the pattern |

my assumption was to start with the dark green on the top and then work my way down to row 9 but i’ve never done this so i’m not sure?

I am not that great at triangle ends but there are great videos on it made by Racoon (Masha Knots on Youtube) and innovate (Alex's Innovations on Youtube).

you can make a triangle end wherever, whether or not there is a clear triangle. For this pattern, specifically, there is a somewhat clear triangle in my opinion. Personally, if I was making this pattern and I wanted to start with a triangle end, I would start where the plaid part of the pattern starts. on row 11 where the red knot is in the middle. if you were to make a triangle end here, all of the white strings would be on the left, and all of the rainbow colors would be on the right side of the triangle end. This would make it quite simple to make the triangle end, and would look quite nice as well. another option that I would consider that would also compliment this pattern would be to do a sort of "half" triangle. if you started at row 20 (all the way on the left), you could bring out each of your strings and basically make the right half of a triangle end. this would also look quite nice with the pattern because you would start with the rainbow candystripe rows. but, its totally up to you. you definitely don't have to make a triangle end in a specific place, make it wherever you want. making a triangle end starting at the top would work perfectly, and theres nothing wrong with that. so start the bracelet wherever you want.

Technically you can start where every you want to. As long as there is a triangle, it doesn’t have to be symmetrical, because with some patterns, there are an odd number of strings, so there is no way the triangle will be symmetrical. Sometimes the way you can do it doesn’t do good when people are wearing the bracelet. But typically I go for the aesthetically pleasing look, because I don’t typically wear my bracelets. I think they are too pretty to get dirty and messed up.
