Alpha changing leading string at the beginning

Hello, I tried to make the pattern #26251 and I don't know how to change the leading string when it is at the beginning. I watched the video on flat alpha's from Masha Knots but I still don't know. Please help 😊

When you have a colour switch right at the edge you aren't supposed to do the flat alpha technique for that colour switch. Instead you do the colour switch of the regular alpha technique that she describes in her first alpha video. You fold the old leading string behind the bracelet and just start knotting with the new leading string. You can still do the fb or bf knot of the straight edges technique if you want to. The straight edges technique on alphas is also described in the flat alpha video.
